Woman Who Drove Drunk In Westchester Had BAC Three Times Legal Limit, Police Say

A 35-year-old woman has been charged after police say she drove drunk in Westchester with a BAC three times the legal limit.

New York State Police say they stopped a driver for a violation on I-287 in the town of Rye on Wednesday, Sept. 25 around 2:10 a.m.

Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Jessica LaFrance, 35, of Derry, New Hampshire, was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

LaFrance was arrested, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where her blood alcohol level was tested at .23, police say.

LaFrance was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, and vehicle and traffic violations. She was released to a sober third party and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Rye Court on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
